The soul of a woman is deep, intricate, and powerful. It holds her thoughts, emotions, and desires. Yet, for many women, the soul carries wounds—wounds from trauma, abuse, heartbreak, and disappointments. These wounds don’t just disappear with time; they must be intentionally healed, restored, and renewed by the power of Christ.

As I prepare to launch my new podcast, Healing the Soul of a Woman, I want to share why this journey matters. Because healing isn’t just about moving on—it’s about transformation. It’s about breaking free from trauma triggers, renewing the mind, and learning to walk in true freedom as daughters of the Most High.
What Is the Soul?
The Bible teaches that we are three-part beings: spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). While our spirit connects directly with God, our soul consists of our mind, will, and emotions—the very parts of us that the enemy tries to torment and trap in cycles of pain.
• The Mind: The battlefield where past trauma, lies, and strongholds reside. The enemy tries to keep us bound through negative thought patterns, but the Word commands us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2).
• The Will: Our ability to choose and take action. Trauma can create fear-based decision-making, keeping us stuck in cycles of people-pleasing or self-destruction. But Jesus calls us to surrender our will to His: “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42).
• The Emotions: The place where we feel pain, joy, and everything in between. When wounded, emotions can control us, leading to anger, anxiety, or depression. Yet, God’s desire is to heal our broken hearts (Psalm 147:3) and bring peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).
If we want true healing, we must allow God to restore our mind, will, and emotions—not just one, but all.
Rewriting Trauma Triggers Through Mind Renewal
One of the biggest struggles for women who have endured trauma is triggers—sudden emotional reactions to reminders of past pain. These triggers are deeply ingrained in the soul, often tied to subconscious fears and wounds.
But here’s the good news: We don’t have to be slaves to our past. We can rewrite our triggers through the renewing of our minds in Christ.
•Taking Every Thought Captive – “Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).
• Replacing Lies with Truth – “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
• Walking in the Spirit, Not the Flesh – “That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind” (Ephesians 4:22-23).
Healing the soul means actively engaging in mind renewal, surrendering our will to God, and allowing Him to heal our emotions. It’s a process, but it’s possible—because Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18).
A Call to Break Free and Rise
Many women stay bound because they don’t know healing is possible. They believe the pain will always define them. But I am here to tell you: Your past does not have to be your future.
You were created for freedom, wholeness, and purpose. God desires to heal your soul, to rewrite your story, and to use your testimony for His glory.
That’s why I’m launching Healing the Soul of a Woman—a podcast dedicated to helping women walk in true healing and deliverance.
